About this course
This is one of the courses towards gaining the IFS Certified Specialist accreditation for Developers. It enables students to cover and prepare for all of the examination specification topics for the “Application Forms Development” exam.
TargetAudience
Those who need to be able to modify and/or create new windows within the windows-based client of IFS Applications™.- Introduce the architecture of the IFS Enterprise Explorer
- Set up a development environment
- Create a simple Windows form
- Generate a new navigator containing forms created
- Add and modify menus
- Transfer data between forms
- Work with events
- Demonstrate advanced database access techniques
- Create a master detail form window
- Create a dialog box
- Introduce translation and security
- Understand the IFS Enterprise Explorer, which is the Microsoft Windows-based client architecture of IFS Applications
- Set up a development environment
- Understand the development cycle of the windows-based client
Knowledge: one must be familiar with ERP software in general and the look & feel of IFS Applications. In addition, one must have a good understanding of the applicable business processes for their area of expertise. Industry experience is highly recommended. Finally, knowledge of Object Oriented Design principles with SQL, PLSQL, and C# .NET Framework languages is a must.
