TCS’s Industry Solution Units (ISU) serve customers with a focus on domain expertise in a specific industry vertical and operate globally by providing customers with a single view of TCS, i.e. from sales to relationship management and delivery, thereby enhancing customer centricity, driving operational agility, developing domain specific solutions and creating growth opportunities. TCS’s Horizontal Service Delivery Units provide their services to all industries and markets in collaboration with the ISUs. TCS has also seeded Strategic Growth Business Units with a focus on developing opportunities for non-linear growth.

TCS's marketing thrust is through geography specific units: Major Markets (MM) operates in UK, Europe and Americas; New Growth Markets (NGM) in APAC, India and Ibero America. These units focus on the acquisition of new customers. New Growth Markets (NGM), India, APAC and Emerging Markets (EM) are structured as individual operating units to address the unique business needs of these geographies. These units look after sales, relationships, delivery and operations for all customers in these geographies. Any regional operations of global customers within these units are directly under respective Industry Solution Units (ISU).
