ABOUT THE COURSE

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the Equipment functionality of IFS Maintenance related to the IFS Applications. This is also one of the courses towards gaining the IFS Certified Practitioner accreditation for Maintenance Consultants. It enables students to cover and prepare the Equipment specification topics for “IFS Practitioner Consultant - Maintenance” exam.

Those who need to be able to identify and state essential decisions to be made, basic data to be created and processes involved in the setting up of Equipment in support of IFS Maintenance in IFS Applications

At the end of this course, the students will be able to:

  • Identify and set up the basic data required for Equipment Administration

  • Demonstrate an awareness of various ways of viewing equipment structure
  • Describe what kinds of information can be connected to equipment objects, and how to add this information
  • Describe the benefits of using Permits and create Permits
  • Create and prepare an Isolation Order
