InFocuS, the IFS North America User Group, brings IFS customers together with a shared goal to facilitate networking and knowledge exchanges between customers, the IFS team and IFS Partners. InFocuS is managed by volunteer members on a Steering Committee of approximately 20 customers from several industries and geographies across North America. The user groups function as a sounding board for IFS when developing products and are one of our most important sources of information regarding customer sentiment. For customers, joining the InFocuS user group is free of charge and offers a unique chance to meet with peers to discuss common successes and challenges, exchange processes and ultimately, learn from one another.
InFocuS User Group meetings are typically held in the spring and fall of each year at various customer sites and offer the opportunity for IFS customers in the geographical area, those within a similar industry or have a similar solution interest to attend and learn from the host customer.
These local meetings typically start with a half day of training sessions, a welcome reception and then on the day of the meeting, an overview by the host company and a tour of their facilities to demonstrate how they use IFS in their business. In addition, the afternoon includes breakout sessions with attendees covering a variety of topics - driven by what our customers most want to learn about. A typical agenda format for our User Group meetings include:
