SPIE France chooses IFS Applications
Comprehensive ERP solution to empower nearly 19,000 SPIE France employees at 400 sites with robust capabilities and intuitive user experience
London, December 17, 2019 – IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that SPIE France—a subsidiary of the SPIE Group—a leading technology solutions provider in the energy and communications sector, has chosen to implement IFS Applications™ across all subsidiaries to consolidate business processes and increase efficiency.
The company needed to unifiy and streamline its IT landscape, which comprised a large number of different solutions. Following a comprehensive evaluation of vendors such as SAP, Oracle, Sage and Microsoft, SPIE France chose IFS for its comprehensive functional coverage and intuitive user interface.
Using IFS Applications, SPIE France will consolidate its business operations, helping the company establish harmonized operating protocols across its five subsidiaries for increased efficiency and performance. The IFS solution will support mission-critical processes including project management, supply chain management, maintenance, planning and scheduling optimization, financials, and human capital management.
The new ERP system will make it possible to work better and faster, making SPIE France and its subsidiaries more agile and efficient while delivering a number of benefits to its employees and clients.
“In line with SPIE France's transformation project to ensure agility and efficiency, we had to provide our employees with a single, secure and intuitive IT solution,” said SPIE France CFO & IT Manager Fréderic Belsoeur. “The IFS team impressed us with their in-depth understanding of the unique challenges and requirements in our industry. They offered us a user-friendly solution that could empower all SPIE France employees by providing them with the right data at the right time. We are confident that IFS Applications will make it simpler to serve our customers better.”
Christophe Ceze, IFS Managing Director for FBI Market Unit (France, Benelux, Iberia), added, “We are honored by the trust that SPIE France has placed in our people and our solutions. IFS got its start in the energy sector and has amassed a unique value proposition for companies within this asset-intensive, project-centric space. We are very excited to bring our nearly 40 years of industry experience to bear on this implementation and to help SPIE France outpace the competition through increased efficiency and improved visbility.”
The SPIE France announcement follows closely the agreement with SPIE Nederland, also part of the SPIE Group, who chose IFS Applications to increase process efficiency, improve margins, and facilitate rapid integration of acquistions.
