Ryan Courson

Ryan is a finance and operating leader known for building high-performance organizations, scaling technology businesses, and solving complex problems at pace and scale.

With experience as both a technology investor and CFO, Ryan brings a disciplined approach to translating innovation into durable financial performance. An AI-forward operator and deep systems thinker, he is energized by businesses where complexity and transformation meet, and by building the systems, teams, and operating rhythms required to sustain growth.

Ryan’s leadership style combines high standards with deep investment in people. He invests in developing leaders who operate with independence, judgment, accountability, and deep curiosity.

Before joining IFS, Ryan served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Kaseya, where he helped scale the business during a period of significant growth. Prior to Kaseya, he served as CFO of Cornerstone OnDemand and EagleView Technologies, and as CFO of NYSE-listed Atlas Corp. Earlier in his career, Ryan was a technology and software investor at Alpha Wave Global, Teton Capital, and Berkshire Hathaway.

Ryan also serves on a number of technology boards and as a visiting professor at Washington University in St. Louis, where he teaches Investing. He is fluent in Mandarin and graduated summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys lifelong learning, health and fitness, and spending time with his wife, four children, and golden retriever.
