After successfully running the Finance, Global Extension, Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules on-premise with IFS Applications 8, the company decided to upgrade to IFS Applications 10 and also move to the IFS Cloud Services.
The decision to both upgrade to IFS Applications 10 and move from hosting on-premise to IFS Cloud Services was driven by the company’s growth and the need to operate in geographically-diverse sales markets.
By upgrading to IFS Applications 10, Roxtec can now use IFS Global Extension, a structured way to manage localizations without affecting the core ERP code or any customizations. Layered architecture also allows for the introduction of country-or region-specific functionality.
