The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is EU legislation that requires large or publicly listed companies to report on the environmental and social impact of business activities, starting in 2024. Disclosures must follow relevant European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). In addition, organizations should also ensure independent assurance on the information presented.
