Bianca Nobilo is Chief External Affairs Officer at IFS, and a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Her responsibilities include supervising government, industry, and media relations, as well as shaping the overall engagement and communication strategy for IFS in the context of an interconnected world, heightened geopolitical instability and the growing prominence of artificial intelligence. Bianca has a wealth of experience in global affairs, politics, and defense.
A former News Anchor & Multiplatform Correspondent on CNN US & CNN International, Bianca led daily breaking news coverage on stories including: the Israel-Hamas war, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Covid-19, Brexit and elections around the world. Additionally, she presented feature series on travel and technology. Fascinated by the digital transformation of information and the media landscape, Bianca experimented with her own online geopolitical explainer series in her spare time, garnering millions of views.
Previously, Bianca worked in the British Houses of Parliament and the defense sector. She holds a first-class degree in History from the University of Warwick, a Master of Science in Comparative Politics at the London School of Economics, and a Fellowship in Communications where she designed and conducted original research into the impact of the body language of executive and political leaders on their electoral and stakeholder success.
