Heerema Fabrication Group consolideert EPC-processen op ERP
Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG), onderdeel van de Heerema Group, een toonaangevend bedrijf in de offshore olie en gas, energie, engineering en bouwsector, draait zijn primaire bedrijfsproces op IFS Applications. Door het gebruik van IFS Applications kan HFG toekomstplannen ontwikkelen en haar EPC(I)-contracten uitbreiden. Al meer dan 10 jaar gebruikt HFG maatwerk software voor zijn primaire bedrijfsproces. Met de herziene strategie van HFG in gedachten, om een wereldwijde EPC(I)-aannemer te worden, raakte de verouderde software snel achterhaald. Er was nieuwe ERP-software nodig, vooral om de nadruk van HFG om een wereldspeler op het gebied van techniek, inkoop, constructie en installatie (EPC(I)) en turn-key-contracten te worden, te ondersteunen.
