Mitutoyo America uses IFS for advanced sales and service management

The implementation of IFS led to increased efficiency and visibility.
In 2002, Mitutoyo America transitioned from a legacy AS400-based system to IFS. After seeing improvements in efficiency and visibility they joined the early adopter program for IFS’s enhanced business intelligence (BI) functionality. As Mitutoyo business involves sales and service, they make heavy use of the service management and maintenance functionality of IFS, alongside the lifecycle management functionality to track the location of assets such as their coordinate measuring machines. Overall their IFS solution has created a unified SCM, finance, service management and maintenance application.
